Neil Dean-Lead Vocals

Neil has been singing from a very young age with bands of various stripes since his mid-teens. In recent years he has fulfilled frontman duties with Never Say Die (a Black Sabbath tribute act featuring former members of earthtone9, Cubic Space Division and Lauren Harris’s band (Six Hour Sundown) and holon, an experimental band in the tradition of Mr Bungle and King Crimson, with whom he still records. His influences are eclectic but he names the key players as Howlin’ Wolf, Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, Mike Patton, Maynard Keenan, Chris Cornell, Jeff Buckley and Phil Anselmo.




Darren (Daz) Towner - Lead Guitar                

Daz picked up the guitar at the age of 13 and is entirely self taught! With no desire to have lessons, he taught himself out of books and through jamming. He joined his first gigging band at 17 and since then he has travelled and performed all over the UK in various Rock/Metal bands. When not gigging with The Self Titled Daz plays a part time role as Slash in the well known UK G'N'R tribute act Guns 2 Roses. His main musical influences are Metallica and Godsmack and Slipknot.


Paul Brander - Drums

Paul is the founding member of the band in 2003 and he has seen many changes in that time. He is very determined to make the band successful with lots of hard work and rentless gigging. He has been in many bands playing the circuit on bass, vocals and of course Drums! He first started playing drums when he was at school and went on to read music. Paul’s Solid Stadium Rock style drumming drives the band and gives it the heartbeat. His main musical influences are Stone Sour, System Of A Down and Metallica.

steve burwell - bass

Steve has been playing bass for over 20 years. Spending that time gigging and recording with a variety of rock, punk, funk and fusion bands. More recently performing in the UK with 'No Retreat No Surrender' a thrash metal punk influenced original line up. His influences range far and wide, but he names his key influences as System of a Down, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Korn, Deftones and Rage Against the Machine.
